Apparently Curt Schilling doesn't think much of the social justice warriors who are trashing him

I'm not even sure if Curt Schilling still works for ESPN. They pulled him off Sunday Night Baseball last season when he dared to question the accepting of 10,000 mostly Muslim refugees from Syria - and there's nothing wrong with the work of Jessica Mendoza in his former slot, but every time I hear her voice I can't help but wonder if they felt they had to replace Schilling with a woman to really double down on the PC thing. At any rate, Schilling is clearly not the type to cower in the face of criticism lest he lose incur the wrath of his terrified employers. His latest incursion into free expression involved the idea that men's and women's bathrooms are designed in certain ways to correspond to people's natural anatomy as oppopsed to how they "identify," whatever that means. He didn't say it exactly like that, but I'm sure you won't be surprised to learn that the usual social justice warriors and their media allies launched into conniption fits.

And if you've been paying much attention to Schilling, you'll not be surprised to learn that he not only didn't back down, he counterattacked. Beautifully:

Let's make one thing clear right up front. If you get offended by ANYTHING in this post, that's your fault, all yours. And for you people too dense to understand this one very important thing. My opinion, 100% mine, and only mine. I don't represent anyone but myself here, on facebook, on twitter, anywhere.

1. The meme the world decided to rally behind that I posted months ago. The meme that some of you clowns and more of you spineless looking to be offended folks turned into something it was not. Every one of you gutless cowards, when 'calling me out' or calling me a racist, every one of you left out the only word in that entire meme that mattered. You had to, otherwise you'd have had to go elsewhere to find offense and create something out of nothing. Let me help you now. All of you fraudulent media folks, you lazy ass "don't actually want to work for a story" clowns. The word you left out? the ONLY word that mattered? EXTREMIST. That word being omitted creates two completely different posts with two very different meanings. I don't dislike or hate Muslims, or people of the Islamic faith. Ask my friends that are both. But then again you all knew that, but when you omit the word extremist you create a person that doesn't exist and have a story with traction, even if it is a complete lie.
2. This latest brew ha ha is beyond hilarious. I didn't post that ugly looking picture. I made a comment about the basic functionality of mens' and womens' restrooms, period.

See here's the thing. I do NOT care what color you are, what race, what sex, who you sleep with, what you wear. I don't care and I never have. I have opinions, but they're just that, opinions. And opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and they usually stink. You know how I know you 'offended' people are full of crap? Because I'm not even close to any of the things you so desperately want me to be, so you can whine. What Schilling clearly understands is that the SJWs have no intention of engaging in any sort of debate or discussion on this or any other issue. Their tactic is always the same - to make sure a gigantic hulabaloo erupts any time someone has the gall to publicly disagree with them. The intended result is the person's employer, or clients, or advertisers, or whoever controls their income, is so intimidated by the promised firestorm that they feel the need to smack the person down - just to quiet the mob. Schilling also clearly understands that the mainstream media are only too happy to help the mob. Why is it a news story that Schilling commented on a meme on Twitter? Not because Curt Schilling's views on things are inherently newsworthy. He's a retired baseball player, not a policymaker or recognized thought leader. But he's got a high enough profile that it will be news if he gets suspended (as has happened once already) or fired for what he says, and the news story the media crave is not only these events but also the loud and never-ending clamor for them to happen. The expression of any thought opposing the SJW agenda is such a guaranteed s***storm that the media treat it as big news whenever anyone dares to go ahead and do it anyway. And Schilling's right about their laziness. He says something on Twitter. His critics say things on Twitter. ESPN may or may not issue a statement. All they have to do is sit back and watch it all unfold and then write thinly veiled editorials disguised as news stories - which required virtually no reporting work. Rarely will the target of one of these attacks counterpunch as hard as Schilling has done here, if only because nervous nellies in their circles plead with them to just be quiet so it all goes away. But it needs to happen more often. Clearly Schilling has no fear of any consequences or simply doesn't care. Either way, he's one of the few who's doing it right.
