This is so good. This is so very very very very good . . . just watch it, and share it with everyone you know.

I hate to add much to this because it stands so well on its own, but it gets to something I've said more than once, and some of you won't like this. The conservative movement in this country is a huge failure. By and large we've had the same people "fighting for conservative principles" since the days of Reagan, but with the exception of the things Reagan himself achieved - which were quickly reversed once he had left the scene - the leftward march of the government and its policies has continued unimpeded.
Don't the people who have controlled the conservative establishment during all that time bear some responsibility for the failure? Government has not shrunk. The tax code has not been simplified or made less onerous. Regulations have not been eliminated. Market reforms have not been applied where desperately needed. We can shriek all day long about how the nation is being lost because of the left, and it is, but why does our side keep losing to them? Don't just tell me it's the RINOs or the media, because if that's the case, then conservatives have lost to them too. Why is that? Does our side have the slightest idea how to fight? Like Brit, I'd rather see aggressive tactics that might be reckless, but at least are designed to win, than the ineffective crap we've seen for the past generation or so. That's gotten us exactly where we are.
