Canada Is Definitely Off Trump’s Christmas Card List

The trade war between the United States and Canada has heated up again, and this time it may be for real. Whose side you're on will largely depend on which side of the border you're on, but know this: President Trump gets all of the negative press, and the Carney clown show should be thankful for that, since in his own liberal way he has been poking the bear, instead of doing the best thing for Canada.

Carney, like all liberals, can morph from aggressor/agitator to victim faster than others. Whether it’s their narrow-minded narcissism or some other blind spot that they suffer from, liberals find it impossible to admit that they are wrong about anything, no matter how demented the cause.

On Sunday, Trump made it clear that he has had enough. He posted on Truth Social to blast Canada, accusing them of “ripping us off for decades,” and stating the tariffs are there to make things right.

“When I announced that I was running in the 2024 Presidential Election, right at the beginning, Ford was getting ready to close their Big Factory in Detroit. Then, because I was leading in the Polls, they figured they would leave it open a little longer to see what happened. Now it’s running 24/7, and it’s one of the most profitable Car Plants in the World! There are many other examples, for both Ford, General Motors, and others. I’ve revived, and indeed saved, the Automobile Business in our America. That’s because of what I’ve done with TARIFFS. One of the Worst Abusers is Canada. I don’t want Canadian cars, I don’t want Canadian parts, I don’t want Canadian anything. They’ve been ripping us off for decades, and it’s going to stop. This should have happened long ago with other Presidents, just as stopping Iran should have happened long ago. They want to be treated like a State, but they aren’t one. I deal with the Leadership of many Countries, but I find Canada to be the worst. They are entitled no longer!”

The president then added that Canadian businesses interested in continuing to do business with the United States should consider moving to avoid tariffs.

“Let all Canadian Companies that are doing business with America move to the United States immediately. Many of them are Companies that moved out years ago due to stupid U.S. Leadership. When you move back, there are no TARIFFS!”

Several hours later, the president elaborated, further claiming the US has lost “more than 60 Billion Dollars a year with Canada,” with one-sided trade conditions favoring them.

“For many years, the USA has been losing more than 60 Billion Dollars a year with Canada. Why??? Our long-ago stolen businesses are now coming back to America in order to avoid paying tariffs. They are lining up, just like the rest of the World!!!”

On Sunday, President Trump sat down with Trey Gowdy on 'Sunday Night in America' to discuss his first term compared to his second term, foreign policy initiatives, tariffs on Canada, and efforts to address the southern border crisis.

Here is his short comment on Canadian tariffs.

No one denies that Trump can be extremely brash at times, and because of that, too many people focus more on how he says something rather than listening to what he is saying.

Canada and many other nations have allowed the United States to not only protect them in many ways, but also to take advantage of their “Big Brother” through aspects of trade. Trump is not doing this because he enjoys it. Tariffs are hard on everyone involved, but sometimes things need to be set straight.

Hard decisions get that label because they are tough to make, and it takes resolve to see them through. Trump shouldn’t have to make this many tough decisions; his life would be much easier if he didn’t, but he was elected President of the United States, and he will uphold that duty until the end of his term.

Someone should remind Carney that won't happen until January 20^th 2029.
