Maybe Ottawa could study the Australian military

With our allies and potential enemies prowling the oceans in nuclear submarines, diesel subs, even if they don't leak, are are no bargain. The problem with the military is no one knows how big it should be, what weapons it needs and what its role should be. Maybe Ottawa could study the Australian military which is admired by the major powers for its defined duties and professionalism.
