Charlie Sheen: Please God, kill Donald Trump

Before we lament that Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn has fallen this far, we should probably consider that he hasn't actually fallen at all. He was always down this low. We just didn't always realize it, and presumably neither did Denise Richards at first. Charlie is too charming a guy for most people to catch on right away. But you are who you are, and you can only hide it for so long - especially when you crave attention but really have no idea how to handle it when it comes your way.

Does Charlie Sheen actually matter a whit? Of course not. What really matters is the gague of how something like this plays in the modern culture. You already know what happens to a celebrity who wishes ill to Barack Obama. It has nothing to do with whether Obama deserves to have harm done to him. It's just not something that's right to do, like the guy or not, and when someone decides to express a sentiment to the contrary he usually comes in for lots of societal heat because people want it understood that there are lines we don't cross. Charlie would have you believe he's catching lots of heat for this. Maybe you've seen more than I have. At any rate, his response to the supposed heat is . . . interesting. But let's start at the start. In case you missed it, Charlie Sheen would like God to kill Donald Trump:

Dear God; Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please!
