Not exactly earth-shattering news, but Hillary lied yet again

Condi Rice joins Colin Powell in disputing Hillary's claim about personal e-mail advice

Let's review: First, Hillary tried to blame Colin Powell for her schlock, homebrew e-mail server, saying he told her to set it up. Second, Powell made it clear that was a lie, and that he's getting tired of Hillary's people trying to pin her illegal activities on him. Now, another person Hillary claims was in on this conversation, Condoleezza Rice, says it never happened:

An aide to Rice told CNN that Rice has "no recollection" of a conversation between Hillary Clinton and Colin Powell that reportedly took place at a 2009 dinner party of former Secretaries of State, during which Powell allegedly recommended that Clinton use a private email account. The Daily Caller was first to report that Rice had commented on the issue.

Georgia Godfrey, Rice's chief of Staff at Stanford University where she teaches, also told the conservative news outlet that "Dr. Rice isn't doing any media right now. I can tell you, though, that she has no recollection of that conversation either." It's unclear whether Rice was present specifically when Powell reportedly offered his advice, although it was reported she attended the dinner party. The conversation between Clinton and Powell was first reported by The New York Times, based on an excerpt from an upcoming book about Bill Clinton's post-presidential years by Joe Conason. According to the Times, Madeleine Albright hosted the dinner party with other former Secretaries of State -- including Powell and Rice and Henry Kissinger -- to celebrate Clinton's appointment to the top diplomatic post. Each former Secretary offered Clinton advice, and Powell's advice was reportedly to use a personal email account. Powell, for his part, has also said he has "no recollection" of the reported dinner party conversation. He pushed back on the story over the weekend, saying that Clinton's "people are trying to pin it on me."

Now Powell does acknowledge that he offered Hillary some feedback on how personal e-mail might be used, but not at this dinner party, and in fact a full year after Hillary had already begun using her schlock, homebrew e-mail server exclusively for all work-related correspondence - in spite of pleas from State Department IT staff not to do so, and in spite of clear policy forbidding it, and in spite of the fact that putting classified information at risk in this way represented a felony violation of federal law. Nothing Powell told her recommended that she do this. He was just talking about how people use personal accounts via services like Gmail or Yahoo for personal stuff. That is nothing like what Hillary did, despite her attempts to claim "other Secretaries of State did the same thing." No. They didn't. So there was no dinner conversation. There was no recommendation from Colin Powell about setting up a schlock, homebrew e-mail server. And Hillary therefore lied to the FBI, which is a federal crime, on top of the ones she's already gotten away with. This woman should be in prison. The fact that she is not means this nation's political system is hopelessly corrupt, and it's no wonder people don't trust it.
