Cops Probe Brutal Murder of Four in Alabama

Police chief Chuck Hagler said Scott Lamar Abbott is being held with no bond allowed. Hagler said Abbott slashed and stabbed two men and two women while they slept early Saturday in their home in the suburban Birmingham community.

The chief identified the victims as 24-year-old Nika Sandlin, 27-year-old Jeri Cole, 31-year-old William Gilbert and 26-year-old Joshua Gilleo.
