Customs agents find 957 pounds of marijuana in pipe shipment

U.S. Customs and Border Protection field operations officers working at the El Paso port of entry seized 957 pounds of marijuana early Friday afternoon.

The drugs were found in a commercial shipment of concrete pipes and were said to be valued at $765,600. The officers discovered the drugs at about 1:45 p.m. when a 1993 International tractor arrived from Mexico at the Bridge of the Americas commercial facility. More...
