DeSantis Unveils New Law That Scraps Climate Change From Florida Policy

The state government of Florida will now reportedly no longer be obligated to incorporate climate change ideology into the formulation of its energy policy, per legislation enacted by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday.

Additionally, state grant programs that promote energy conservation and renewable energy will be eliminated, and the construction of offshore wind turbines in state waters will be prohibited under the new law, which was enacted by the Florida Legislature in March and will go into effect on July 1. ---More...
