Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Why isn't Black Lives Matter classified a hate group?

Nice object lesson this morning on how the left reacts to questions that make it collectively uncomfortable. It basically comes down to this: "Can you believe she asked that question? What a horrible question! Destroy her!"

Whether Elisabeth Hasselbeck knew this and decided to invite it anyway, or whether she just asked without thinking about it, the result is the same. Even the fact guest Kevin Jackson is a black man who complete agreed with her doesn't slow the huffing and puffing. If anything, it exacerbates it. But it's a reasonable question, no? Remember how the left tried to hang the Oklahoma City bombing and the rise of militia groups on Rush Limbaugh, suggesting that his harsh criticisms of the government served as subtle if unintended signals to the most unhinged of his listeners? If they were OK with that extrapolation, why not one that sees the nationwide demonization of police - with widespread participation by the mainstream media ands the tacit endorsement of the president of the United States - as a trigger for the angriest of men to open fire? (Video below) And lest you think the knee-jerk condemnation comes only from extreme left-wing activists or blowhard celebrities, here is this morning's post from Yahoo. Not some idiot who works for Yahoo. Yahoo: The comment itself is classic. Don't address the question at all. Simply act as if it's egregious that it was even asked. If you had any doubt that mainstream "news" sources are speaking the same rhetorical language as the extreme left, be unburdened of it from here on in. So in answer to your question, Yahoo: Yes. Really. Now try answering the question. Encouraging black people across the nation to see white police officers as their natural enemies is going to get some of the latter group killed, not to mention TV reporters who did nothing whatsoever wrong but happened to be in the path of a hypersensitive homicidal powderkeg. You don't think any of this ties together? You don't think it's worth discussing? I think you know the answer and that's exactly why you don't want to talk about it.
