Controversial MP a hypocrite
George Galloway
Re "Controversial MP a hypocrite." (goldstein, Mar. 26):
British MP George Galloway is no more a threat to Canada's national security than was deported racist Ernst Zundel.
If Canada is going to bar all prominent visitors who are obnoxious, or who spout political views we don't agree with, then we had better start hiring thousands more customs personnel. Galloway is certainly a flake. He claims that Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization. He also says he was re-elected for a fifth time despite the efforts of the British government and the Zionist controlled news media to defeat him. Galloway, by his own words, has given comfort to the terrorist organization known as Hamas, and Canada sees Hamas as an enemy. So, technically, Canada has a right to bar this blathering MP, but to say he's a threat to national security is nonsense.
