White House press secretary Robert Gibbs is leaving his post this week to work on Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.
Here is a collection of some of Gibbs’ less than stellar moments as he dealt with the White House press corps from the Politico: Gibbs, who thought he could just waltz in and use his folksy charm to handle the press corps, found that the job was much more difficult than he expected once the Obama aura wore off. I can’t help but hope that his spotty performance will be repeated on the campaign trail in 2012.
