Democrats haven’t provided many pleasant surprises for decades. Still, over the last year, Bill Maher has, on occasion, touched base with reality, which has provided some relief from the left's incessant madness.
Recently, Maher put the outright stupidity of liberals on blast and called them out for the fools that they have become. Maher himself is a liberal, so you would think that his condemnation of their policies and idiotic ideas would carry some weight; however, it seems that he is just another voice crying in the wilderness.
In a recent episode of his show "Real Time with Bill Maher," he referred to the United States of the past reverently, calling it “Old America.”
Maher then started his rant by attacking the Democrats’ moronic stance of supporting men to compete in women’s sports. Stating, “there's a lot of stuff like that on the left, and when conservatives see it, they say, 'I'm sorry. We're just not going to go along with reinventing society, often pointlessly, even if we have to cancel democracy to do it.'"
He then railed on about the disconnect that Democrats have with average Americans.
Maher then went after the left’s refusal to discuss anything.
He then attacked the Democrats’ "smug self-righteousness" in defending "some of the dumbest ideas to ever come down the pike."
I agree with every point that Maher attacked. I am delighted that he identified the left’s refusal to discuss their asinine beliefs and the smug manner in which they believe their stupidity should be accepted without question.
Think about the fact that liberals will look you in the eye and tell you that a man can menstruate. There have been instances when they have insisted on putting Tampon machines in men’s bathrooms. Remember that a Democratic nominee for the Supreme Court would not identify what a woman is.
These are not political differences in the usual sense. This is a political party that is in total denial of reality. These are individuals whose beliefs are so extreme that they have become dangerous in ways previously unheard of.
The Democrats are even running an oxymoron called a “Democratic Socialist” for the mayor of one of the country’s largest cities, and no one of any consequence within the party has seriously condemned the ideology. That fact should signal to every American that this party will do anything to obtain power, even if it means opening the door to socialism, which, by the way, has been one of their unspoken goals for decades.
Maher wants his party to change because he can see the chasm between radical Democrats and rational Americans growing every day. Unfortunately, the party refuses to move toward the center and is continuing its steady march into radical oblivion.
That’s good news for Republicans, but depressing news for the country. The United States is severely divided, with each side now diametrically opposed, even on issues that were once easy to agree on.
Maher is pleading for middle ground; however, sadly, that is something that no longer exists. Still, conservatives appreciate his trying.
