God Had A Plan For America

I just finished watching an episode of “Gutfeld” on Fox News. The discussion in one segment talked about the possibility that America might have needed to hit rock bottom before extended recovery as a nation could commence. That was the seed I needed to go where I am about to go.

"If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools." ~ Plato

For at least the last half century, America has been addicted to coasting along with whatever government bureaucrats deemed appropriate for us. We didn’t pay a lot of attention to what the government did for us or to us. In other words, things were good enough. Except for election time most Americans didn’t have much interest in government. Plato’s words played out (pun intended), and we were indeed being ruled by fools.

I now believe God had a plan to bring America back to the virtuous and honest nation He blessed at the time of our founding which lasted until after World War II. It was in the following two decades that America jumped on the slippery slope toward the evils nearly every previous society descended into throughout human history. How many times did God forgive the Jews in the Bible?

Part one of God’s plan was Donald J. Trump riding down, appropriately, on a golden escalator in 2015. God chose Donald Trump because He knew Trump could weather the trials and tribulations that were in store for him for at least the next ten years.

God knew that America needed to meet Trump and observe how he would Make America Great Again in the tradition of America’s Founding Fathers. And President Trump didn’t disappoint God or the American people.

Part two of God’s plan was, believe it or not, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Politburo behind the curtain of the Biden administration. God knew that America as a nation had to be driven to rock bottom, like any addict, before America would be ready for recovery. God also knew that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were the right people for the job of running America into the ground. And a fine job they did of it, too.

Part three of God’s plan was Donald J. Trump as our 47^th President. God’s plan was to bookend the Biden disaster with Donald J. Trump. America and the world needed to see how fast and how bad America could hit bottom even after how strong America was under Trump 45. God’s plan worked wonderfully, as God’s plans always do.

I hope greater America has learned the lessons God taught us so vividly over the last 10 years. God has chosen to bless America once again, and now it is up to us to earn His continued blessings. Are We the People up to it? Only time will tell.

Trump believes God chose him for this task and so do I.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
