As one of Athens' top florists, Dimitra Tranou is the first port of call for anyone needing bouquets for a big fat Greek wedding.
On Monday, though, as her country teetered on the brink of financial collapse, her prospects of a prosperous summer of nuptials were looking distinctly slim. "We do a lot of flowers for foreigners who like Greece as a wedding location, and today we have had two calls from people saying that they are cancelling their plans because they fear the country is becoming unstable," she said.
