A rape survivor gets muzzled.

Hillary to legislator asking about Juanita Broaddrick: 'You're very rude and I'm not gonna ever call on you'

Let's stipulate that New Hampshire State Rep. Katherine Prudhomme O’Brien was being a bit over the top - constantly standing and waving her arms, etc. - in her attempt to get Hillary's attention here, or at least to let everyone else see her so it would be clear Hillary was ignoring her. But if you know the back story, you know that's not the real reason Hillary chose to smack her down so hard. That was the excuse for it. It wasn't the real reason. The real reason? O'Brien, who by her own account is a rape survivor herself, had the audacity to call Hillary out for the disingenuousness that saw her declare rape victims should be believed, only to run for the tall grass when someone brought up Bill's accusers.
Juanita Broaddrick is an especially tricky case for Hillary because she was not just someone Bill sexually harassed. She flat-out accused him of rape. And if Hillary wants to say rape victims should be believed "until evidence determins they should not be believed," she can hardly apply that to Broaddrick because a) no such evidence has ever surfaced; and b) Hillary apparently told O'Brien not long ago that she doesn't even know who Broaddrick is. Well, O'Brien figured that was worth a followup, and here's how that went: (Scroll down for video) I don't know who the reporter is, but this is a class lamestream media tactic with critics of Democrat candidates. Rather than dealing with the issue the critic raised, you attack the critic. Remember how they investigated Joe the Plumber and discovered that he wasn't a licensed plumber? Scandal! With O'Brien, the fact that she's a Republican apparently means that no question she asks is valid because hey, she might have an interest in seeing Hillary look bad. And so what if she does? If her question is legitimate and Hillary can't handle it, then Hillary deserves to look bad - regardless of whether that pleases the questioner.

I wonder if the reporter still pursues that line of questioning with O'Brien, though, had he already been told that she herself was a rape survivor and that she only became a Republican because she was tired of the Clintons covering this crap up in order to save Bill's (and now Hillary's) political career. At any rate, lest anyone think these questions are some sort of illegitimate distraction from the issues, let's remember that Hillary herself put these issues into the arena with a) her declaration that rape victims should be believed (but not Bill's victims); and b) her attack on Donald Trump as sexist, which Trump correctly declared made Bill's behavior toward women fair game. Hillary wants you to vote for her because she's a woman, but how dare you point out her involvement in the destruction of women who were ill-treated by her husband, or even her inconsistent public statements about same. Oh, and if you really believe for one second that Hillary doesn't know who Juanita Broaddrick is . . . I bet Bill's still got the marks to prove Hillary knows perfectly well who she is.
