"I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision." "I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life.”Now, Planned Parenthood has been caught selling pieces of the babies they - in their own words - "crush," Hillary is trying to walk a tightrope. For a number of reasons, she can't come out and denounce the abortion outfit. The Dems far-left base would lose its collective mind, she'd lose donations and support from the abortion industry, and her already sinking ship would go down even faster. At the same time, support is growing for efforts to yank Planned Parenthood's federal funding and the undercover videos are (with the exception of a few hardcore abortion nutters) universally reviled. So she has to say something. That means, in true Clinton fashion, she's doing everything she can to have it both ways. Newsflash: it isn't working. In trying to defend Planned Parenthood from a potential congressional investigation, Hillary Clinton just called for congressional investigations into the entire abortion industry. As the New Hampshire Union Leader reports:
Calling them “disturbing,” Hillary Clinton said undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetal tissue raise questions about the process nationwide. “I have seen pictures from them and obviously find them disturbing,” the Democratic presidential hopeful said during a sit-down interview Tuesday with the New Hampshire Union Leader. “Planned Parenthood is answering questions and will continue to answer questions. I think there are two points to make,” Clinton said. “One, Planned Parenthood for more than a century has done a lot of really good work for women: cancer screenings, family planning, all kinds of health services. And this raises not questions about Planned Parenthood so much as it raises questions about the whole process, that is, not just involving Planned Parenthood, but many institutions in our country.” “And if there’s going to be any kind of congressional inquiry, it should look at everything and not just one (organization),” she said.We couldn't have said it better ourselves. There's no "if" about it. We're obviously going to be taking a long hard look at Planned Parenthood. If Hillary Clinton wants to extend that inquiry to every provider nationwide, who are we to argue? Let's follow Hillary's advice and have a massive, headline grabbing, investigation into what, precisely, abortion providers do and how they profit from it. We should spare no details in outlining their procedures and practices. We're sure Hillary's staffers are scrambling as we speak, trying desperately to come up with a way to walk this back. The Democrats' 'inevitable' candidate just called for something that is anathema to every left-wing drone voter. We couldn't be happier that she did. Let's all proudly proclaim that we support Hillary Clinton's suggestion that the entire abortion process should be investigated immediately.
