How about giving Iran a $50 billion signing bonus to seal the nuke deal?

If it surprises you that the Obama Administration would be mulling a $50 billion "signing bonus" to incentivize Iran to sign the bonkers nuclear deal that has become the obsession of President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, I'd suggest you look into the behavior patterns of people who are desperate. And that especially applies to people who are trying their hardest to get their love requited and finding that it's just not happening.

What will it take? I'll do anything? And if anything takes the form of $50 billion, hey, it's not their money. It's yours:

Experts have said this multi-billion dollar “signing bonus” option, which was first reported by the Wall Street Journal, could be the largest cash infusion to a terror-backing regime in recent memory. A cash release of $30 to $50 billion upon reaching a final nuclear agreement would come in addition to the more than $11 billion in unfrozen assets that Iran will already have received under an interim nuclear accord reached in 2013. When asked to address these reports on Monday, State Department Spokeswoman Marie Harf attempted to dodge the issue and then accused reporters of getting “spun up” on the issue.

Asked whether Iran could receive $50 billion “on day one after signing” or verbally agreeing to a nuclear deal, Harf told reporters that she would “look into it.” When pressed to provide an answer about the Journal’s initial report, Harf declined “to go line by line in the story.” I suppose the one plausible defense of the State Department here might be that it's Marie Harf we're talking about, and she quite possibly doesn't have the slightest idea what's going on. But come on. Do you think for a second that Obama would shrink from a demand like this? Or worse yet, suggest it himself as a way of inducing the mad mullahs to put their names on the bottom line? Hey, $50 billion could buy a lot of uranium. In fact, I hear the Russians have access to lots of it. It could also send a lot of weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah, and we already know Obama considers it unrealistic to ask Iran to stop supporting terrorists. So in for a dime, in for $50 billion, right? If they're going to do it anyway, we might as well provide the money. Every time I think this deal can't get any worse, Obama and Kerry show me that I had too much faith in them. It's not enough that the deal doesn't stop Iran from getting the bomb. It's not enough that they won't allow inspections of their military sites. Now we're going to actually pay them to make this horrendous agreement with us? Even Neville Chamberlain didn't give Hitler a signing bonus. Obama breaks new ground daily.
