In brief,
King v. Burwell deals with the Obamacare provision that authorizes premium tax credits for health insurance purchased by certain individuals through a state insurance marketplace (known as an exchange). By the letter of the statute, these tax credits are not available to those who purchase insurance through federally run exchange, but are available only to those who purchase insurance on an exchange “established by the State”.
