Huma Abedin: Hillary destroyed her daily schedules by burning them

The Associated Press protects Democrats on every matter except one - the hiding of public records from the Associated Press. You can socialize the country, redistribute wealth and retreat from any notion of global leadership. But don't you dare make journalists look like fools when they come at you with their FOIA requests. It almost makes me think the AP deserves President Hillary. But the rest of us don't, so maybe this will make them stop and think a little about continuing to carry her water. Those daily schedules the AP has been seeking since filing a FOIA lawsuit for them last year? Ha! Hillary anticipated that when she was Secretary of State, and guess what she did:
Hillary Clinton’s closest aide revealed in a deposition last week that her boss destroyed at least some of her schedules as secretary of state — a revelation that could complicate matters for the presumptive Democratic nominee, who, along with the State Department she ran, is facing numerous lawsuits seeking those public records. Huma Abedin was deposed in connection with a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit into Clinton’s emails — but her admission could be relevant to another lawsuit seeking Clinton’s schedules. “If there was a schedule that was created that was her Secretary of State daily schedule, and a copy of that was then put in the burn bag, that . . . that certainly happened on . . . on more than one occasion,” Abedin told lawyers representing Judicial Watch, the conservative organization behind the emails lawsuit.
Now you might say to me, Wait a minute, Dan! You're always saying Hillary's dumb! This sounds pretty clever! You burn your records and then when the media comes demanding copies later, they can't get them!

Hillary is both paranoid and sloppy in the methods by which she acts on her paranoia

No. She's dumb. Just because you destroy a paper copy doesn't mean there's no electronic backup, or that no one else kept a copy. Hillary is both paranoid and sloppy in the methods by which she acts on her paranoia. It's like thinking she could wipe her schlock, homebrew e-mail server just by hitting the delete key a bunch of times. People can and do recover those e-mails. People can and probably will recover the information on who she met with on those days the schedule went in the "burn bag." And in addition to being dumb, she's sneaky and dishonest. What's really important here is not just that she violated record-keeping laws, but who she was meeting with on those days that made her want to keep her schedule from being seen by anyone. Clinton Foundation donors who wanted favors in exchange for cash? Likely campaign donors who need some skids greased? A Russian uranium official? If we'll never know because we'll never see the schedule, then it's Hillary's fault I'm speculating. She's the one who put the answers in the burn bag.

She is terrified to have anyone know what she's actually doing, so she constructs elaborate but sloppy schemes to hide her activities

Look, if you elect this woman president, you're going to get nothing but this nonsense all the time. She is terrified to have anyone know what she's actually doing, so she constructs elaborate but sloppy schemes to hide her activities. Then we end up in a constant game with her in which we're not only trying to find out what she's up to, but we're forever scrutinizing the smokescreens she sets up to make sure we don't. This is why - when you already know someone is corrupt and dishonest - you don't just put them in office and hope for the best. You're not going to get the best, especially not when the corrupt and dishonest candidate is also completely incompetent. You're going to get nothing but trouble until you can finally show her the door. I say better not to let her walk through it in the first place.
