Fog machines are laying down smoke to cover Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Burisma Holdings, and their corrupt racketeering enterprises in Ukraine, China, and other countries. We must sort out fact from fiction.
First: It is the owner of Burisma Holdings, Ltd. who was under serious criminal investigation. It does not matter if Hunter Biden committed any crime or did anything wrong. (He did.) It does not matter if Burisma Holdings, Ltd. did anything wrong. (It did.)
See how that works? See the sleight of hand, changing the subject? It is Burisma's owner who was in the cross-hairs. So those covering for Democrats retort that there is no evidence that Hunter Biden did anything wrong. But that wasn't the question.
As PJ Media reported on March 21, 2018, "The Biden family's dealings with this Ukrainian company involved getting one of the country's most notorious mob bankers, Ihor Kolomoisky, off the U.S. government visa ban list. Under Biden's leadership, $3 billion in aid went to Ukraine, and his son's [Hunter's] company was implicated in the disappearance of $1.8 billion of that money."
Burisma owner Zlochevsky together with even bigger crime boss Ihor Kolomoisky ran Privatbank (alternatively translated from Cyrillic as ProvatBank). Billions of dollars of international foreign aid went through PrivatBank. $1.8 billion of it disappeared. More amazing, it takes serious gangsters to make people stop asking about a missing $1.8 billion.
Burisma Holdings is owned by Brociti Investments Ltd of Cyprus which is owned by Mykola Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky was Ukraine's Ministry of Ecology and Energy. The Ukrainian government was investigating Zlochevsky -- Burisma's owner.
Ukraine raided Zlochevsky's home and seized his assets a few months after Joe Biden threatened Ukraine with the loss of $1 billion in U.S. taxpayer funds (apparently in December 2015) if they did not fire the nation's Chief Prosecutor Viktor Shokin.
Only just this week, as Reuters reported, "Ukraine has widened its investigation into the founder of energy company Burisma to include suspicion of embezzling state funds, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka said on Wednesday." The lies of the Democrats that the investigations were closed or no wrong-doing was found is just laughably false.
Second: The criminal organization outside of the four corners of Burisma used Burisma's check book to pay over $3 million in bribes to the Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, laundered through his son Hunter Biden. That's bribery, conspiracy of bribery, money laundering, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
So if Burisma's owner was prosecuted, that would have shut down the gravy train to the Biden family's cookie jar of over $3 million and spark a major scandal. The fact that Hunter was so conspicuously unqualified is circumstantial proof that the payments were bribes, not compensation.
Third: We are scolded that many nations wanted Viktor Shokin fired. So? Vice President Biden could have more than just one reason for his actions.
However, why is it okay to order a company to fire its own official? What if the United Nations ordered the U.S.A. to fire Attorney General Bill Barr? Would that be okay?
Fourth: All of the warring Ukrainian factions each claimed to be fighting corruption. But that was merely a cover story for one crime family fighting another. As extensively documented in journalist Arkady Vaksberg's book The Soviet Mafia, which prominently concerned the Ukraine, those complaining about corruption actually were the corruption.
In the Soviet Union, pretending to fight corruption was just a ploy to attack rival crime families. The officials would round up the competition, then tell the public that they were cleaning up the city. Then they would move in and steal society blind themselves. So claiming that Viktor Shokin was weak on fighting corruption bears much more careful scrutiny.
Fifth: Every witness in the Adam Schiff Impeachment Show testified that the President was exclusively focused on Ukraine's interference in the U.S. 2016 presidential election. You must listen to the actual testimony at [url=http://www.c-span.org]http://www.c-span.org[/url] (which lets you fast-forward). Don't take my word for it. You can listen for yourself. So now you have no excuse.
No one -- no witness -- thought that anything about Trump's requests of Ukraine had anything to do with the 2020 presidential election. The witnesses mostly testified that they know absolutely nothing except they think they should set foreign policy not the President, they are sore that President Donald Trump did not listen to their opinions, and Trump must confront that we are at war with Russia. (We are?). Those who claim actual knowledge say that Trump was pushing for an investigation into the 2016 election.
Sixth: The President is the only constitutional officer charged with law enforcement. We have been in a great war for decades. The socialists insist that unaccountable departments and agencies and unelected, often anonymous, bureaucrats run the U.S. Government. The Constitution says that the President of the United States runs the Executive Branch. This is horrifying. Leftists are outraged that President Trump follows the U.S. Constitution which gives an elected President that authority.
There is no FBI in the U.S. Constitution. There is no Department of Justice. There is no Attorney General in the Constitution. Only the POTUS is given the power of law enforcement. Every law enforcement official inferior to the POTUS serves exclusively to assist the President.
Seventh: So the Bidens actually are central to the Democrats' Impeachment Theatre Show. If the President was authorized and obligated to investigate incidents under the Obama Administration and in the 2016 election, then Trump did nothing wrong. Indeed, Trump did everything right. As the chief law enforcement officer and the Constitutional official charged with foreign policy, President Trump was obligated to ask Ukraine for its assistance in investigating, clearing up, or helping prosecute any crimes that occurred in 2014 through 2016. Whether there was a reason to demand an investigation by Ukraine is central.
Eighth: If the Bidens did nothing wrong, why would an investigation of them in Ukraine hurt Biden as Trump's (not so much) political rival? Of course, video of Joe Biden pawing little girls on camera and sniffing girls' and women's hair will doom any Biden presidential campaign. Biden -- known as "Cobra" by the Secret Service for walking around the Vice President' residence naked in front of female Secret Service -- is just too dumb to win an election for President.
Ninth, what is maddeningly missing is that Ukraine could only be investigating what the Bidens did actually within Ukraine's borders. Democrat nonsense ignores the limitation: Only what the Bidens actually did in Ukraine would be investigated by Ukraine.
