ICYMI: Saturday Night Live's Democratic debate was pretty great.

Bernie Sanders isn't some kind of Billionaire who owns three or four pairs of underpants. He's poor. He has one pair of underpants and he dries them on the radiator. At least, that's the word from Larry David, who played Sanders on this weekend's Saturday Night Live.

The show's cold open was a send-up of the Dems' debate and (while it continued the show's long history of propping up Hillary) it was actually pretty funny. If you haven't seen it, here it is: (Scroll down) Bernie Sanders has since gone on the record to assure everyone that he owns an "ample" amount of underwear. He also acknowledges that Larry David is probably a better Bernie Sanders than Bernie Sanders is:

"In terms of Larry David, I think we're going to put him up on the stage at our next rally — let him do it rather than me. He does it better than I do."

Please, Bernie, don't sell yourself short. No one does "crotchety, old, white, unelectable, socialist coot" better than you.
