By Brian Lilley, Parliamentary Bureau PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff has denied he's looking for a soft landing at the University of Toronto if he doesn't win the next federal election.
Ignatieff issued the denial in response to a front-page story in Thursday's Toronto Star. Columnist James Travers cites sources who say Ignatieff is in talks to replace Janice Stein as director of the university's Munk School of Global Affairs. "I was surprised," Ignatieff told reporters before leaving Peterborough, Ont., for his next stop in Cobourg. More...
