Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Needs To Heat Up

I read a recent account this morning about an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent getting dragged almost a block by an illegal alien who chose attempted vehicular murder of a federal officer in response to being arrested.

This incident is the latest in an ideological frenzy where ICE agents are attacked for daring to do their deportation duties.

Suspects and supporters had gotten so violent that the California National Guard and US Marines had to be deployed to secure deportation operations in Los Angeles, the most sanctuary of so-called 'sanctuary cities.'

Endless footage of ICE agents wrestling with suspects while fending off swarming supporters makes me wonder whether they are ordered not to be too physical toward those resisting and obstructing arrest?

With camera phones and corporate media often on the scene, it's no stretch of the imagination to assume the agency takes pains to avoid viral in-custody beatings or deaths of the magnitude of a George Floyd or Rodney King from the late 20th century.

I deeply understand the moral and strategic implications urging tactical caution.

Being a proponent of mass deportation shouldn't be conflated with condoning brutality.

I also don't desire seeing ICE agents used as human punching bags or live targets for snipers.

ICE needs to heat up, a position supported by no less than President Trump's executive order that they take decisive action if attacked or after their vehicles are struck.

'Mostly peaceful protests', as enablers faithfully call mob interference with law enforcement these days, is heating up.
