Now that Attorney General William Barr has finally taken a stand and sided with the 4-year long coup against the President's office, the winning strategy for Democrats to escape justice after engaging in serious scandals and major crimes can now begin for the 2020 election scandal.
The playbook is simple when there are no consequences for illegal actions.
Winning strategy for Democrats to escape justice
Commit the crime.
Destroy the evidence.
Have the party's propaganda wing, aka "the media," downplay the crime, rewrite history, and urge the American public to "move forward."
A past example in 2010 saw the IRS target conservative groups looking to acquire tax-exempt status under 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4).
This targeting halted these groups from having any involvement in the 2012 Presidential election.
It was more than a scandal. It was a considerably powerful government agency that took away the First Amendment rights of ordinary American citizens due to their political beliefs.
In the middle of the scandal was IRS Head, Lois Lerner. Even after a subpoena was issued, Lerner's hard drive was shredded and sold for scrap at a recycling center in 2012, losing over 24,000 of Lerner's emails. The destruction of evidence essentially ended the investigation that the DOJ officially closed in 2015.
In the end, the crime paid off. Obama won his re-election bid, and Lerner took the fifth and a hefty pension into the sunset. The Democrat party's propaganda arm insisted that no crimes took place and told the American people to move forward.
In 2015 Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was at the center of a major scandal that involved her setting up a private server at her home in Chappaqua, New York.
Hillary and Her Without permission, Clinton used this private server exclusively for business-related items rather than the one issued by the government. This action was in violation of the Federal Records Act and circumvented Freedom of information Act requests.
Comey stated that he knew Clinton did not act with criminal intent
The examination by the F.B.I. of Clinton's unsecured server found emails that were deemed classified, secret, and top secret.
Although the Select Committee on Benghazi issued a subpoena on March 4, 2015, to retain Benghazi-related emails on Hillary's server, between March 25th and 31st, information on Hillary Clinton's private server was purposely destroyed. Clinton also had other communication devices destroyed using hammers.
The destruction of the evidence ended any chance to uncover the truth in the Benghazi case, but that miscarriage of justice was compounded as former F.B.I. director James Comey recommended that no charges were to be filed against Clinton. Comey stated that he knew Clinton did not act with criminal intent.
The Democrat party's propaganda wing continued to misinform the public by stating that Hillary was allowed to use a private email account. They said this knowing it misled the public about the enormous difference between private email accounts, which have been used in the past, and private email servers, which were never used until Hillary had one installed at her home. And once again, they, along with Democrat leaders, urged the American people to forget what happened and move forward.
Although substantial evidence of massive fraud in the form of hundreds of signed affidavits and witness testimony exists, AG Barr has sided with the propaganda wing of the Democrat party who are busy reporting that no evidence exists.
The only piece missing, so far, from the Democrat "escape justice" playbook is the destruction of evidence. But there's still plenty of time for that.
