What seems to be one of the major campaign themes of the wounded Democrat Party, would be that Donald Trump and the Republican Party want to “undermine our democracy” and become a fascist dictatorship. Really? Which party wants to imprison its political opponents with trumped up legal charges? Which party has turned a blind eye to our immigration laws and have let millions of illegal migrants into our country unvetted? Which party wants to “pack” the Supreme Court with like minded liberal political judges? Which political party encourages fringe groups to ply their venom of Antisemitism on college campuses? The answer should be quite obvious which party those questions referred to, it was the Democrat Party, the party that projects their evil doings on their political opponents, the Republicans. They should look in the mirror to see who the real underminers of our democracy are.
The constant drumbeat of the Democrats that if Donald Trump is elected, the Constitution will be thrown out the window and Trump will assume the role dictator. Yes, they really believe that or they pretend to believe that. The demonization of Trump is underway in place of talking about the the issues that the American people are mainly interested in being addressed. It doesn't make any difference to the lunatic fringe of the Democrat Party that Trump had 4 years as president and none of the dastardly acts, portrayed by the Democrats, took place while Trump was president.
Do the Democrats really believe the terrible things that they are accusing Trump and the Republicans of doing? Too many Democrats believe their only hope of retaining power is to demonize both Trump and the Republicans by putting fear in the voters minds that a vote for Trump will be a vote for the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler. Imagine putting the Hitler label on a fellow American, a former president at that, when they should be touting their positive policies, of which, in reality, are very few.
The resilience of Donald Trump in the face of unrepresented vile personal attacks over the past 8 years is quite astonishing.
No matter what Trump says or does, he is accused of being guilty of “supposed crimes” brought forth in Democrat strongholds of New York, Wash. D.C., and Atlanta, Georgia, with the expectation that one or more will come up with a guilty verdict thereby rendering him a loser in the election. As fate would have it, it has not turned out like the Democrats wanted. One case after the other have been dismissed, much to the chagrin of the Democrats. Other civil cases against Trump will most likely be overturned on appeal, causing more angst among the vindictive Democrats. It looks like Trump will avoid going to jail, and instead will be going back to the White House.
The outcome of the election, between Trump and whoever the Democrats finally choose as their presidential candidate, will be determined at the ballot box, and as of now it looks like the “evil” Donald Trump will prevail. So, it will be quite ironic that the Democrat piñata, Donald Trump, will be the savior of our “democracy” not the person who will undermine it. God bless America. Democrats, look in the mirror to see the real enemy of our democracy.
