An NYPD officer shot and injured a man after he lunged at cops with a metal pipe in Staten Island on Friday night, police said. Officers responded to a call about a disturbance on Malden Place near Falcon Avenue at around 10:35 p.m., NYPD Deputy Chief Charles McEvoy told reporters.-- More...
