Matthews: Hey, Chuck Schumer, what's the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist?

If you watched last night's State of the Union address, you have every right to be angry at the President for wasting your time. You should stop what you're doing and write a letter to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue demanding Obama fund the science that will allow him to give you 64 minutes of your life back. It was, to be blunt, completely worthless. However, if you watched it on MSNBC you at least caught an interesting moment during the network's pre-game show.

Chris Matthews is STILL trying to get a Democrat to explain the difference between the modern Democrat party and socialists like Bernie Sanders. Sadly, his luck has not changed. What should be a simple question has become a real mindbender for the left's best and brightest. They seem utterly incapable of putting together a legitimate answer, despite the fact that Tingles has been asking, over and over again, for months. This time, the baffled Democrat was Chuck Schumer: Once again, we have to point out that there is no difference. No one can come up with an answer because you can't make a distinction where none exists. The current crop of Dems are socialist in all but name, they know it, and they know the American people will torch their party if they ever admit it. Matthews still maintains that he believes there is a difference. If he's so sure, maybe it's time he responded to his own query. ...We're willing to bet he can't offer a coherent answer either.
