Obviously, we're used to a steady stream of crazy coming from the fine folks at MSNBC. Chiefest among the network's primetime calamities is Chris Matthews, whose career is basically one, long, barely-coherent rant. Every now and then, though, it feels like one of his handlers stuffs his meds into a wad of peanut butter and Chris comes through with something approaching an actual truth.

This, it seems, is one of those times. According to Chris Matthews, both parties have a vested interested in cheap labor, so they refuse to enforce laws designed to keep undocumented aliens from holding illegal jobs in the U.S. ...Oh, and he adds that Dems want to make sure illegals stay here because "Democrats want votes. Let's face it." Wow, yesterday we had Bernie Sanders admitting the truth of conservative arguments about Obama's labor numbers, and today we see Chris Matthews admit that conservative arguments about illegal workers are right as well. Maybe someone spiked the left-wing Kool-Aid?
