WASHINGTON, D.C. – A new study published yesterday by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) warned women who received the COVID shot regarding breastfeeding their infants younger than six months. The study included 11 healthy lactating women who were asked to collect and immediately freeze samples of their breast milk after receiving either the Moderna or Pfizer shot within six months of delivering their newborn babies. Of the 11 volunteers, six received Pfizer and five received Moderna injections during lactation. After vaccination, breast milk was analyzed for the presence of mRNA nanoparticles. Seven samples from five women were positive for the presence of mRNA with the samples appearing in higher concentrations than whole milk. The participating women also provided breast milk samples before vaccination and for five days post vaccination.-- More...
