New Orleans Liberal Mayor has car stolen!

Mayor Mitch Landrieu hasn't met a car thief for whom he doesn't have a tax payer-funded head pat via his Nola For Life program.

He recently had a family vehicle stolen-and recovered by a neighboring agency outside his department destroying grasp. This episode is trending locally, as it should since crime is our big topic. I hope he will be as anxious for leniency toward this culprit(s) as he is for those victimizing the public. City leadership has pampered criminals and emboldened them with lofty speeches about poverty and mental illness as exemptions to punishment. Thugs are further emboldened by photo op arrests of hostages-citizens- who dare defend themselves. New Orleans liberals have encouraged criminals to think crime is a perverse civil right. In this parallel reality, even the mayor energetically enabling crime can find himself its victim. The irony is bitter sweet but unlike the masses, his case was quickiy resolved.
