McCain said Romney was dedicated to serving the country and was a fine and decent American with a reservoir of support and called himself "a great admirer of Mitt Romney's", but he said he was pushing Graham to run. "My illegitimate son Lindsey Graham is exploring that option," the two-time presidential candidate said, prompting laughter from reporters during a press conference on the prison at Guantanamo Bay. "So I am strongly encouraging Sen. Lindsey Graham, particularly with the world the way it is today. No one understands the world today in the way that Lindsey Graham does, in my view.Last week, I wrote about Mike Huckabee's potential candidacy, calling it a thing "nobody demanded." However, by comparison, Huckabee looks like an absolute rock star. ...And maybe that's the point. Candidates from the hardcore RINO contingent have to know that they can't win. They simply have to. These men may be wrong about a lot of things, but they're not stupid people. So, at this point, I'm starting to wonder if we're just being trolled. What if all the Santorums, Huckabees, and Grahams are jumping in to make Jeb Bush and/or Mitt Romney more palatable by comparison? It's the only thing that makes sense. ...Unless they're really just that delusional.
