Paul Begala is shocked, SHOCKED, that the press holds the Clintons to such lofty ethical standards

Technically, Paul Begala's job title is "Senior adviser for Priorities USA Action and Democratic strategist, Paul Begala." In reality, it should read "lifelong Clinton suck-up and media shill, Paul Begala." He's been wandering from network to network, defending the Clintons in one capacity or another, for decades. ...And that's fine. It's his bread and butter. It's "what he does." However, it looks like he's finally had enough. Paul Begala is outraged. He's fed up. He's mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore.

You "people" in the media have held the Clintons to an ethical standard that is so far beyond the pale that no one - no normal person on planet Earth - could possibly meet it. Watch as he loses it over the impossible-to-meet bar that you've set for these fine, upstanding, well intentioned hill folk politicians. By God, people. This is the Nobel "peace prize" we're talking about. Why, that's an award they only give to people who might do great things somewhere down the road! Forget the decades of corruption, the lies, the affairs, the rape accusations, the perjury, the pay for play, and the desperate and sad attempts to skirt rules that would apply to every other American citizen. The Clintons are above reproach and shame on you, shame, shame, shame, for suggesting otherwise. The Clintons are the very heart and soul of small-town Mayberry USA, and their lapdog - their yapping little shih tzu - will be damned if he's going to sit their and let you suggest otherwise.
