Clearly, the Left side of the partisan Big House is hard at work co-opting Our House of Black identity and dignity
'People of Color' Translated From White Liberal-ese
The phrase, "people of color," is White liberal-ese for avoiding addressing Black concerns as a unique category and mushing us into a White liberal-led lump with every other ethnicity as they shape our priorities to fit into their, not our, agenda.
Surprise!, I'm not a "person of color." I'm a person of my own color, my own context and my own community.
I’m an Old School Brother, not a piece of political play-doh to be arrogantly named by others as my forebearers once were
I notice liberal prescriptions for "people of color" conveniently ignore Black concerns in favor of using our Narrative to advance interests of groups more favored by White liberals.
I'm Black with a capital "B"; distinct from all others with a unique mission that I pursue first and foremost (charity begins at home, meaning in my community) and then stand upon as a platform to engage others.
I'm an Old School Brother, not a piece of political play-doh to be arrogantly named by others as my forebearers once were.
Clearly, the Left side of the partisan Big House is hard at work co-opting Our House of Black identity and dignity.
