PSYCHIC STORM

It hit me like a sudden thunderclap from within. My heart began hammering like a demented drummer. I could hardly breathe, I felt sure I was going to explode into a million bits and pieces.
It took twenty minutes going on twenty hours for the psychic storm to subside. "What the Hell happened to me Doc?" "You had an attack of acute anxiety" "What does that mean?" "It means you have been severely wounded in the battle of life" "will it happen again?" "I'm afraid so" "You're afraid?" ` "will I get over it?" "Maybe." " If not, you'll get used to it" But I didn't get used to it. I can't get used to it. I'll never get @#%&* used to it. William Bedford
