He's on fire! En fuego, Mohammed Morsi,
Ok, I know. There's an awful lot of Rand Paul around here today. I promise; this will be the last one of the week. I'm just having a great time watching a U.S. Senator who actually understands and defends the Constitution. It's sad that these displays are so rare. This time, Senator Paul takes the Constitutional fight to John Kerry during his Secretary of State confirmation hearings.
Kerry basically argues that he believes in the Constitution when it comes to war powers, but sometimes you have to ignore it because it makes things so gosh-darned difficult. Needless to say, Senator Paul isn't buying it. First, he tears into Kerry's hypocritical views concerning illegal bombing in Cambodia during Viet Nam versus Obama's illegal bombing of Libya. Then, he presses him on Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi's anti-Semitic comments and our idiotic decision to supply both sides of a Muslim Brotherhood / Israel arms race. Absolutely stellar stuff.
