A massive search and rescue effort was underway after an Army Black Hawk helicopter collided midair with an American Airlines jet at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia on Wednesday evening.

‘Several members’ of US Figure Skating team were aboard AA Flight 5342

(Fox News) “Several members” of U.S. Figure Skating were on the American Airlines flight that collided with a military helicopter near Reagan Washington National Airport late Wednesday, Fox News has learned.

The flight came days after the U.S. Figure Skating Championships which were held in Wichita from Jan. 20 to Jan. 26.
