Sadly, Tragedy Brings Out The Stupid In CNN

CNN still believes that the American public are zombies who feed off of the words of their protagonist anchors. It started slowly, but for decades now, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, and all of the mainstream media have replaced the news with opinionated pinheads who do nothing but mouth the rhetoric they are told to spew forth.

The good news is that more and more people are hearing what these extremists are saying but not listening to it. That is an excellent sign of a society maturing out of the hypnosis of constant modern-day propaganda and realizing that our survival as a free nation cannot depend on what the left calls freedom.

Trump derangement syndrome on the left has now reached mythical proportions

Yesterday, a tragedy occurred when a Black Hawk helicopter collided with a commercial airliner, sadly resulting in the deaths of everyone on board of both aircraft. While many questions need to be answered, one thing is for sure: you can ignore the finger-pointing of the left towards Trump, and you can also ignore the DEFLECTION of the left that DEI had nothing to do with this crash.

This ploy by the MSM is the epitome of projection. It is nothing more than another weak diversion to try and blind the American people from the truth and to ignore the facts.

Here is a perfect example of how demented the left is. While bodies were being pulled from the Potamac, liberal Democrats were already planning on using those killed in the tragedy as a diversion.

Keep in mind that Trump has only been in office for nine days, and yet even though Biden and Harris destroyed America for personal gain while deflecting and demeaning all moral principle, they still don’t understand what Trump is doing, nor do they care.

Listen to this. These fools think Americans are so gullible they want us to believe what is total bullsh*t. Radical Loser journalist Aaron Rupar actually tried to use the proposed reduction in the federal workforce as another excuse for which these depraved idiots sought to blame Trump.

Some even tried to pin it on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, proving the Trump derangement syndrome on the left has now reached mythical proportions. The CNN circus tried to weigh in, but not before Bakari Sellers had to delete a post, adding:

“I deleted the post because timing matters. Politics, at this point, does not. I f***ed up, and I own that. I am very prayerful, but I’m also very frustrated, upset, and disturbed with where we are as a country. I recognize, and I will do better. The only thing that matters is rescuing the survivors and ensuring this never happens again.”

In other words, he probably received a phone call from his employer to keep quiet. It’s not surprising that CNN’s Abby Philip attempted to blame Trump. However, colleague Pete Muntean was one of the few who made a valid point regarding this tragedy.

“This clearly, Abby, will be a tragedy that will change aviation. Mark my words now. You are looking now at the incredible response there on the shores of the Potomac River...This is really staggering that this has happened and there have been close call after close call involving commercial flights on the runways of commercial airports, major airports in the U.S., an incident, a spate of incidents that really took off in 2023. None of them ended up ending up occurring with a mid-air collision like we have seen here. The fact that this involved not only a commercial flight, which is equipped from top to bottom with anti-collision technology, something called TCAS -- Traffic Collision Avoidance System, mandated by the FAA in most commercial airliners since the early ‘90s, but also the pilots are well trained. The aviation system -- commercial aviation in the U.S. is the gold standard for safety. We are the example for every other country. There not been a significant crash with fatalities, and we do not know if there are fatalities here in the U.S. involving a commercial flight since the Colgan air crash of 2009 led to sweeping changes in regulation and pilot experience requirements. The fact that this happened in D.C. over near Reagan National Airport, some of the busiest airspace in the country and one of the single busiest runways in the national airspace system, is really pretty incredible."

The left immediately tries to eliminate DEI as a possible cause despite knowing the truth

Not really. Here is where fact overrides deflection. CNN and all of the liberal media genuinely believe we are stupid. They want you to think that Trump, trying to eliminate the waste of DEI in the past week, had something to do with this tragedy. They want you to ignore that all those near collisions, doors blowing off, emergency landings, and landing gear failures never happened.

The left immediately tries to eliminate DEI as a possible cause despite knowing the truth. For obvious reasons, President Trump criticized former President Obama and suggested that DEI hiring practices may have contributed to the deadly mid-air collision that occurred Wednesday night at Reagan National Airport.

“A group within the FAA determined that the workforce was too white, so they made concerted efforts to get the administration to change that and change it immediately. This was in the Obama administration.”

Trump also blamed former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for focusing on diversity instead of competency.

“He’s a disaster now. He’s just got a good line of bullshit. Well, he runs it, 45,000 people and he’s run it right into the ground with his diversity.”

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the mid-air collision over Reagan National Airport was absolutely preventable.

“What happened yesterday shouldn’t have happened. It should not have happened. And when Americans take off in airplanes, they should expect to land at their destination. We will not accept excuses. We will not accept passing the buck. We are gonna take responsibility at the Dept. of Transportation and the FAA to make sure that we have the reforms that have been dictated by President Trump in place to make sure that these mistakes do not happen again.”

The Biden administration spent four years destroying the concept of merit-based hiring

Last year, more than 1,000 people filed a class action lawsuit against the FAA, claiming they were denied jobs because they are white.

Former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt said his clients passed the test to become air traffic controllers. However, the Obama administration said the class was too white and tossed the test along with the applicants.

In 2012, the FAA stopped race-blind hiring rules and implemented a “biographical assessment to hire more minorities.”

Last year, the Daily Mail reported the FAA launched a campaign to hire recruits with “severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems, and physical issues.”

At that time, Elon Musk tweeted that it would take an airplane crashing and killing people for the FAA to change its crazy DEI policies.

Was Musk right? In the last year, I have written at least three columns on the FAA, Boeing, and the airline industry in general. It’s tragic that something this horrible happened.

The Biden administration spent four years destroying the concept of merit-based hiring. Instead, they implemented an illegal quota system under the more pleasant-sounding name of DEI.

Will the truth concerning this tragedy ever be known? Who can say? One thing we do know is that nothing about this can be blamed on Trump, despite the radical left’s sick attempts at deflection.

Whether DEI played a part in this tragedy or not, I agree with Musk. You cannot continue to hire people without considering merit. It’s illogical and immoral under any circumstances, but especially when people's lives are at stake.
