Should John Boehner be the Speaker of the House?

As Speaker of the House and leader of the House Republicans, John Boehner promised he would fight Obama's Executive Order on immigration "tooth and nail." Yet, soon thereafter, he strong-armed Republicans to push Cromnibus through the House of Representatives to fund Obamacare and Obama's amnesty. A few items funded by the Cromnibus are shown below to give you a taste of how spending is done under the direction of John Boehner.
Since spending bills originate in the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House has a lot of control over spending. Although Mr. Boehner had a 33-vote majority (201 to 234) in the last congressional session, he was loath to confront Democrats on any issue ever since the MSM blamed Republicans for an October 2013 government shutdown. (Despite the fact that the GOP won big in the next election!) Although many people urged the Speaker to use the funding power of the House to negotiate more conservative policies in the Cromnibus legislation, Speaker Boehner's default strategy has continued to be to avoid any confrontations with Harry Reid, Obama, or the MSM.

Funding Global Warming at the UN

While the Cromnibus did have a smaller budget than the previous Omnibus bill, many Cromnibus budget items seem to reveal a lack of leadership, or competence. For example, Republicans should be united against funding the UN's Global Warming project, since it is officially rejected in the Republican Party Platform. Yet as shown below, the House Republicans slightly increased the payout to the UN Environment Program (UNEP).
What does it say about the leadership in the House of Representatives, when they hold a 33-vote Republican majority, and vote to decrease funding to the military, while increasing funding for the UN and its Global Warming program? In contrast to funding globalist UN programs that seek to bring America under UN control, for the second year the House Republicans refused to fund an $11 million dollar consolidated training center for the Navy Seals. Our $344,170,000 payment to the UN for global warming is small compared to our UN membership fee, $1,399,151,000. For example, we are sending cash to the UN through banks ($136,563,000 to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development), funds ($35,000,000 to the United Nations Population Fund), and associations ($1,287,800,000 to the International Development Association). This is just a sampling of how billions are funneled out of America. But, wait, there is more! Our government agencies are also sending money overseas. The EPA has given China $1.3 million, and $300,000 to ICLEI (founded at the UN in 1990). In 2009, the EPA gave out about $12 million in foreign grants, about $22 million in 2010, and $28 million in 2011. Our wealth was spread from Jakarta to Brazil. Mr. Boehner became a Congressman in 1990, Speaker of the House on January 3, 2011, and was reelected in 2014. Republican Hal Rogers was elected to the House in 1981, and has been the Chairman of the House Appropriation Committee since 2011. How could these two career politicians not know about EPA's funding activities?

Amnesty

On 11-13-2014, at a press conference on amnesty Mr. Boehner said: "We're going to fight the president tooth and nail if he continues down this path. This is the wrong way to govern. This is exactly what the American people said on Election Day they didn't want." However, on 11-20-2014, Congressman Ted Yoho sponsored HR 5759, "Preventing Executive Overreach on Immigration Act of 2014." This seems odd because the bill had no enforcement provisions, and seemed like it was designed to placate the numerous GOP Congressman who wanted to defund amnesty, and prevent President Obama from issuing an Executive Order, giving amnesty to ~ 5 million illegals. In a 12-3-2014 interview with Laura Ingraham, freshman Congressman Yoho states he believes that Speaker Boehner wants immigration reform, and disputes Ingraham's opinion that the Speaker is "playing" him. HR 5759 passed the House on 12-4-2014, and was sent to the Democrat controlled Senate. (The Cromnibus legislation was introduced to the House nine days later on 12-12-14, and passed the same day.) Unfortunately for Yoho, on January 6, 2015, the Senate leader will be "Gang of Eight" team-member Senator Mitch McConnell, who is pro-amnesty. There is little chance Senator McConnell will go against his US Chamber of Commerce backers and let HR 5759 come up for a vote. However, Congressman Yoho must have realized the Speaker was not honest with him, and in an unexpected heroic act, Yoho now states he will not vote for John Boehner to be Speaker. Instead he has joined other House members led by Congressman Jim Bridenstine to elect a new Speaker. This incident shows that while Speaker Boehner is loath to oppose Harry Reid or President Obama, he is willing to use his authoritarian power to deceitfully influence freshman congressmen as well as his own constituents. Although he just forced the Cromnibus bill through and would not allow any debate, listen to the Speaker in April 2014, as he mocks House Congressmen and says they are the ones afraid to debate and make immigration policy. However, it is now clear that Congressman Yoho has more character, integrity, and Patriotism than the Speaker could ever pretend to have. Congratulations to Congressman Yoho for doing what is right for America!

Obamacare

In 2011, Congressman Boehner's website stated: "John is leading the fight to repeal and defund the president's fundamentally law...." Mr. Boehner also repeated his defunding goal during his reelection in 2014. Nevertheless, John Boehner funded Obamacare in the Cromnibus, and pushed it through the House in one day!
Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson recently said it is possible to cut, revise or repeal Obamacare. But it will not happen if John Boehner is Speaker of the House. Like the Omnibus bill for the previous year, the Speaker eliminated any debate on the bills by waiting until the last days of the session to introduce his spending bills. This often used tactic violates his pledge to post bills for 72 hours before voting on them. Speaker Boehner's non-confrontational attitude is enabling President Obama to implement his socialist policies and regal fiats without any Congressional restraints. By funding Obamacare and Obama's Amnesty for the next year, rather than the next three months, it stacks the deck against Republican chances to modify them in 2015. Speaker Boehner has handicapped the new Republican Congress by giving most of the Republicans leverage to Obama. The Speaker's credibility and reputation are at rock bottom, and the best thing for America and Mr. Boehner, would be for Mr. Boehner to not run for Speaker of the House on January 6, 2015. Barring that altruistic act, Republicans must elect a new Speaker. Exercise your right and tell your Congressman how you want him to vote.
