Should They Be Seated Or Expelled?

Imagine, if you will, if in the midterm election in November people such as Abdul El-Sayed manage to get elected. With the positions he and others have publicly taken about Sharia Law replacing Constitutional Law, should Congress allow them to be seated? If during their swearing in they lie and say they will defend and protect the United States Constitution, it would clearly be lies based on past statements. El-Sayed says he wants a Muslim takeover of the United States, and some of his supporters are talking about a violent takeover of the Democrat Party. What happens after that?

The House of Representatives and the Senate have a problem, and they may have a bigger problem in January 2027. Presently, Congress has members who have voiced anti-American and anti-Constitution positions. Are these members violating their Oath of Office? If they are, should the House and Senate allow them to retain their respective seats in those bodies? It is entirely likely, if not probable, that in January 2027, even more radical anti-American and anti-Constitution people will be sent to Congress by the useful idiots that don’t understand the existential threat posed to America by radical socialists (aka communists) and Islamists.

Under the United States Constitution, as long as these people meet the requirements of the Constitution, no matter how anti-American they might be, they must be seated as duly elected representatives of their state. However, once seated, each house of Congress does have the right and authority to expel members out of their respective chambers. For context, 14 Senators and five Congressmen have previously been expelled.

Like Bill O’Reilly, I am a simple man. In my simple mind when a congressman or senator (gender neutral for both) voice violence and/or anti-government action against government agents carrying out their lawful duties, these elected anti-Americanists have no business participating in the conduct of United States government business. When government agents are carrying out the laws that Congress enacted and Presidents of both political parties signed, elected representatives are violating their positions speaking out against such laws. If these radical elected officials don’t like the laws of the land, their job is to change them. It is not the job of these elected representatives to incite violence against government agents. If they do, they should be expelled from their congressional seats.

The world is a dangerous place and if allowed, America will become a more dangerous place if anti-American and anti-Constitutional elected officials are allowed to muck up federal governmental processes. It is time for Congressional leadership to put on their patriot hats and assure that only pro-Americans and pro-Constitution people are engaged in government. If anything else is allowed to happen, the next civil war may be just around the corner. That is how severe the socialist-Islamic threat is to traditional America in my simple mind.
