Super Tuesday once was a big day in the election cycle, where many states held primaries to select their favorite Presidential candidate. These days it stands for "Several Unscrupulous Primary Election Ruses".
In this election cycle, we have yet to have a caucus or primary result that we can believe. The Republican establishment, so fearful of the Tea Party, conservative influence, has manufactured results to their liking. In Iowa, Santorum was robbed of the benefits that a win would have, and should have, given him. Now in Maine, it appears Ron Paul got the same treatment. Why bother with the process?
Why don't they just anoint whom they wish? The results would be the same. Neither the present process nor anointment would represent the will of the people.
Mitt Romney is being shoved down the throats of the Republican electorate to fulfill the party plan. This is not the American way.
Our election process should be beyond reproach. There cannot be allegations of voter fraud without leaving the public disenfranchised.
Perhaps that the goal, discourage us so much that we'll stay home on election day, handing the President another 4 years.
Don't fall for the manipulation. Every vote will be vital in November.
