The fatal officer-involved shooting of an armed White male leftist, an ICU nurse, who thrust himself into a Minneapolis deportation operation is a perfect time to have a chat with pale progressives.
What we know about Alex Pretti, ICU nurse killed by federal agent in Minneapolis (ABC News, Jan. 24, 2026)
Guys, I know you've been told how special you are all your lives.
I know you've had safe spaces and 'trigger warnings' on banned phrases as guardrails forming your ideological universe.
I understand you feel leftism is a force field against which law enforcement bodies and bullets are powerless.
You need to understand once you absorb propaganda telling you to become 'granola guerillas' inserting yourselves into active arrests or civil unrest, you're now in the real world, not your little bubble.
In the real world, subjects become suspects in the blink of an eye or squeeze of a trigger, a fact seen three times thus far in under a month in Minneapolis.
You're confronting armed federal agents who are being followed, harassed and often assaulted.
Your coming toward them full of whatever gobbledegook the left fills your head with doesn't make them obediently dismiss you as a peaceful protester.
They're going to see you as a threat, a misguided missile of a person launched from the mob that's shouting, blowing whistles and threatening them.
If you're lucky, you'll be verbally ordered away as an annoyance instead of a threat requiring action.
Should you persist in invading their personal space, not to mention an enforcement action, you'll be considered a threat against which force may be used. This force could be physical or may involve less lethal devices like pepper spray, pepper balls, rubber bullets, etc.
You don't get to make these choices by the way. The agents you confronted do.
Brandishing a firearm or having one discovered while being taken into custody, especially during a struggle, instantly makes you a threat to law enforcement and everyone else.
Your high self esteem or belief in an ideological 'forcefield' won't stop potentially deadly force being used upon you.
Take it from a Brother, White leftists. Running up on federal law enforcement isn't sustainable, a well known fact in many communities.
This isn't 'bootlicking' or police worship as your handlers might tell you.
It's advice from a private protector and protester from a demographic that's been considered a historic threat far longer than your urge to play 'granola guerilla'.
