Taxes

While governments around the world are reducing taxes in hope of kick-starting the current global recession (depression?) it's hard to believe the Ontario Legislature is considering raising taxes by blending the GST with the PST.

If Dalton McGuinty wants to hold on to his constituency in the next election, he'd be wise to take a leaf out of Stephen Harper's book and knock 2% off the PST before he blends it with the Gouge and Screw Tax. William Bedford.
