I like cats. Through grade school, my pet cat was among my best friends.
I’d chase her around the outside of our little house. Then she would chase me. Until we both tired.
My skepticism regarding cat-like behavior is limited to the two-legged species.
It’s common to see paid dog walkers with a herd of varying breeds, on individual leashes, walking in the same direction.
Big ones. Small ones. Short-haired dogs. Long-haired dogs.
But I have never seen a herd of cats move in unison.
Cats are too independent to be part of a movement.

But when the number of Senators is nearly equal in political affiliations, a handful of GOP Cats can be…problematic. Particularly when it involves the wishes of a newly re-elected Republican President.
Senator Joni Ernst (Iowa) has emerged as one Cat preparing to vote against at least one of Trump’s personnel picks.
According to MSN (a dubious source of information):
“Frank and thorough” and the language of a made-up mind.
One cited contributor to the MSN article pictured above is CNN. Within that CNN article is yet another CNN article. That second CNN source cites Vanity Fair.
And so it goes, as a string of questionable sources gleefully provides unverified sexual assault allegations against Hegseth.
The long knives are after Pete’s scalp. And there will likely be other targets if that succeeds.
The Left is not done yet.
