Africa needs to get its human rights house in order and ensure there are consequences for leaders who commit crimes, writes Lwando Xaso.
The events surrounding the detainment of a wanted human rights violator has led to more criticism of the International Criminal Court than the culture of impunity that seems to prevail not only in this country but the continent over. Countless politicians brazenly commit crimes while in office and we seem to have accepted that we are not all equal under the law.
