Time to Drop the Hammer

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” -- First Amendment to the United States Constitution

The time has come to bring down the hammer on those in America that are inciting violence against the American Constitution and We the People. The 1^st Amendment clearly protects the people’s right to peaceably assemble, protest, and to ask for redress from the government for grievances.

However, We the People does not include foreign agents who are not American citizens. Individuals in America, legally or illegally, do not have the right for any kind of assembly. Foreigners who are in America legally are our guests and should behave as guests. Foreigners in the country illegally are simply criminal invaders and certainly have no business protesting anything.

Heretofore, American citizens have been very patient and tolerant of the behavior of foreigners visiting America. The time has now come to bring down the hammer and immediately expel any foreigner who is arrested at any protest, anywhere in America. Revoke their Visa or their Green Card, and send them back to wherever they came from, and prohibit them from ever returning to the United States. No other country on the planet would tolerate this kind of foreigner misbehavior, and neither should America. This would stop much of the chaos being generated on college campuses.

On January 6, 2021, a peaceful protest was conducted by patriotic Americans at the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Paid agitators, some of whom may have been on the federal payroll, incited violence that resulted in the death of an unarmed protester. The Democrat majority in Congress and the Biden Administration police state Justice Department decided to describe this as an “insurrection” and prosecuted law-abiding American citizens as criminals. Since then, evidence and Congressional testimony has mysteriously disappeared surrounding the whole tyrannical prosecution. The criminal enterprise, that is the Socialist Democrat Party inside the Washington Beltway, have been busy little beavers.

Here we are in July 2025, and America is involved in an actual armed insurrection incited by a number of elected federal and local officials.

The time has come to bring down the hammer on them. Not only are these officials inciting insurrection, but some are also inciting violent armed insurrection against federal law enforcement agents. Maxine Waters, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Hakeem Jefferies public statements and behavior should be examined closely, and if they have used inciting language or behavior (i,e. Jefferies and his baseball bat) inciting the insurrections in the streets of America, they need to be held accountable. In my opinion, accountable is being expelled from Congress and facing criminal charges. Tolerating bad behavior only leads to more and worse bad behavior. We see evidence of that on the news every day.

There are other public figures who are passively inciting and fueling the insurrection in the streets of America. By publicly resisting federal authorities enforcing federal law, they are in violation of the United States Constitution and condoning street violence. Governor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Karen Bass, Mayor Brandon Johnson, and Governor Tim Walz specifically come to mind. The list should include the governors of the other 10 states that are “sanctuary states” and the mayor of every “sanctuary city” across America. It is hammer time, and until we “man up” and put an end to the criminal foolishness, and start protecting Americans from all foreign invaders, the government isn’t meeting its constitutional responsibilities. These public officials who took an oath to carry out the laws of the land, must be held accountable. The lawlessness of the last four years and the insurrection we are experiencing today is a product of excessive tolerance, and the price of ignoring these behaviors is too high.

The right to peaceably assemble is fragile. The moment a peaceful gathering morphs into property destruction or violence against others, the right/privilege to assemble ends. It then becomes a riot, which is not a Constitutional right, and it is incumbent on authorities to assess individual responsibility on the perpetrators of the violence.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
