White House press secretary Josh Earnest took a harder line on the tens of thousands of illegal alien children streaming across the border than the Department of Homeland Security secretary did on Sunday, saying "most" of the children will likely eventually be deported. “Bottom line though is that the law will be enforced and what that means is, it means that these children who have been apprehended will go through the immigration court process. And if they are found to not have a legal basis for remaining in the country, they will be returned,” said during Monday’s White House press briefing.“The law will be enforced?” Now THAT is a remarkable change in policy worth noting…if true! Trouble is, earnest speech has not always been forthcoming from this administration! Perhaps Josh Earnest will be different?
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) believes the border crisis is not a national security threat, despite gangsters having already been apprehended along the United States-Mexico border. In fact, Jackson Lee waved a bag of lollipops during a Thursday House Homeland Security Field Hearing in McAllen, Texas, and said she took bags of such lollipops to the illegal immigrant children in detention centers during recent visits.Border patrol agents should seize Lee’s Lollypops as evidence of her intent to subvert the rule of law! By stifling and muzzling Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Sheila Jackson Lee, Barack Obama can make the case that he really cares about children and the rule of law!
