So far, Trump has managed to run a powerful juggernaut of a campaign while spending only a fraction of the cash being burned by his competitors. By deftly exploiting the media, Trump has kept his payout to a minimum and his exposure to a maximum. In fact, he famously called out Jeb Bush supporters for squandering $50 million dollars on a "low energy" presidential bid that has failed to gain any sort of momentum.
Trump's ad-buys come at a time when many people, including some of his supporters, are wondering if the enthusiasm he's enjoyed thus far will translate into actual votes. We know "The Donald" can sell himself, but does he have the political machine and ground game needed to get the faithful to the polls?
