The Beltway crowd and the MSM have a problem where Ted Cruz is concerned. The cartoon character they have created and named Ted Cruz - a wild-eyed, extreme wacko bird - can only exist in people's minds until they actually interview him and people see the real Ted Cruz.
He calmly explains the problems House Republicans seek to solve. He methodically points out all the ways House Republicans have tried to facilitate compromise. He refuses to accept the false premises behind Crowley's questions.
You have to believe the networks will stop putting him on once they figure out how well he comes across.
