VIDEO: Shep Smith describes in horrible detail the ISIS 'burned alive' video

We haven't posted anything until now on the horrendous murder ISIS committed of the Jordanian pilot who was burned alive in a cage. I honestly just don't even know what to say about evil this intense. As like many of you, I'm sure, I've not been able to bring myself to watch it. I realize that someone in the news business has to do it because the rest of us need to know what these monsters are capable of - but I'll just tell the truth here. I don't want that someone to be me.

So I think we really owe a debt of gratitude to Shepard Smith of Fox News. Not only did he watch the whole thing - and you can tell how much it affected him - but he takes the time in this segment to tell us everything. By all means heed his warning if you don't think you can handle the details. They are beyong gruesome. But as much as we don't want to know, we need to know: (Scroll down for video.) So much darkness is necessary to bring about an organization like this - anger, pride, arrogance, carnality, hatred, so much else - and to actually see so many people willingly joining ISIS, even knowing that they do things like this. I honestly don't know if the world has ever seen a movement this evil and sadistic before now. As for the implications for U.S. policy, do I even need to comment? The president of the United States is not willing to commit boots on the ground to stop this. As far as I'm concerned, that tells you everything you need to know about the president of the United States.

This video is no longer available.

Thank you, Shep, for enduring that. You are a better newsman than I am.
